FRAPS reports 60fps, but the game is not smooth at all.

I had to open FRAPS to actually confirm if the framerate was 60, and it was.

However, the game doesn't feel smoth at all, when I explore with my ship the asteroids move at 30fps at most.

Anyone else experience this?.

My PC:

i7 4970K
nVidia GTX970
16 gbs ram.
